Free plan details: link redirects go straight to your website once you verify you own its domain (one DNS record, or we verify it for you). Until then the free plan allows 50 links and 5,000 clicks a month, and web redirects show a short "you're leaving click2" notice. This protects everyone's links from phishing. If you reach a limit, your existing links keep working. The link limit is a total (delete links or upgrade to add more); clicks reset every month.

Questions, answered

How is this different from a URL shortener?

A shortener only redirects to a web page. click2 opens your app on the right screen, handles people who don't have the app yet (through the store and back to the screen), and still sends desktop visitors to your website.

Do I need to change my app?

You add your link domain to the app's Associated Domains (iOS) and App Links (Android), then either use our small open-source SDKs (github.com/click2-page) or call one REST endpoint to find out which screen to open.

Why do you verify my domain?

So nobody can use click2 to send people to a fake version of someone else's website. Verified domains redirect instantly; add one DNS TXT record and we check it automatically.

What happens if I go over my plan?

Existing links keep working, always. The link limit is a total: to create more, delete links you no longer need or upgrade. Clicks are counted per month: if your links reach the monthly click limit, new links can be created again next month, or right away after an upgrade.

Can AI agents manage my links?

Yes, on the Pro plan. click2 has an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT and other AI agents can create, update and bulk-edit links, manage link templates and website banners, and read analytics for your team. You sign in and choose what the agent may do (read-only, or also make changes); agents can't touch members, keys, settings or billing, every change is recorded, and you can disconnect them any time.

Can I get click and install events in my own tools?

Yes. Add a webhook (signed JSON batches to your endpoint) once your domain is verified; on Pro, also connect Segment, Amplitude, mParticle or Braze. Clicks, app opens and installs arrive within a minute.

What data do you collect about clicks?

The link, the time, the platform (iOS, Android, desktop), country, and the referring page without its query string. Unique clicks are counted with an anonymous code that changes every day, so no IP addresses are stored and visitors can't be followed over time. Opt-outs are respected.

Can I bring my own domain?

Yes, on the Enterprise plan: links can live on a domain like go.yourbrand.com. Your team admin requests the domain in the dashboard, we approve it, and you add the DNS records it shows; the certificate is issued automatically.

Do links in marketing emails open the app?

Yes, on the Enterprise plan. Email providers rewrite links for click tracking, which normally sends people to the browser. We set up your click-tracking domain with click2 so tracked links open the right screen in your app; open tracking, unsubscribe links and clicks from phones without the app keep going to your provider.
